Depart to Franschhoek via Paarl. Visit Fairview for a master tasting experience of Cheese and wine, a second tasting at Babylonstoren farm, visit the farm garden and scented room factory shop, wine tasting room, drive to Franschhoek for a third tasting at the boutique winery then lunch at Grand Country Restaurant enjoy the spectacular views of the mountain, a walk in town. Thereafter drive to Stellenbosch for chocolate tasting at Woodford farm, last stop at Annandale wine farm for a unique vintage wine tasting.
Franschhoek means the “French Corner“.
It is nestled in this beautiful valley where the French Huguenots brought the culture of wine. South African winemakers have become masters in the production of fine wines whose grape varieties were imported from parts of Europe.
